This is the second time in this thread I have to dunk on Pachirisu because Emolga is almost too perfect for the Valley Windworks region... I think it'd also be a good choice to have on the stretch of routes between Veilstone, Sunyshore, and Pastoria
I don't think Game Freak knows what it wants to do with Deerling and Sawsbuck anymore; perhaps incorporate the different seasonal variants into different habitats? Spring around Floaroma or Solaceon, Summer near the Resort Area, Autumn around Celestic, and Winter by Snowpoint
Originally, I had Minccino written down as a nice fit for an earlier area like Route 205, but I just learned that they like to wash their tails in clean spring water and now I can't stop imagining them just chilling at the Sendoff Spring on Route 214. Both could work, honestly
Dwebble and Crustle would be a good fit for routes that are connected to caves, seeing as they need rocks to life. I can see Dwebble on Routes 206 and western Route 211, while Crustle could be over on eastern Route 211 instead
Sewaddle and its evolutionary family would be perfect fits for the lush and tranquil Eterna Forest, serving as alternative options for both the early-game Grass type (Budew) and the early-game Bug type (Wurmple... or like, Burmy, I guess)
I don't know about you, but I'm absolutely devastated that Sinnoh only has one family of blue frog-inspired Pokemon that live in wetlands such as the Great Marsh or Route 212. I think we deserve at least one more... thankfully, the Tympole line exists for this very purpose
Because I am an artist, and thus I am a sucker for color coordination, I think the Roggenrola family would be a great companion or even counterpart to the Geodude family that would appear in Mt. Coronet and other caves that utilize a more bluish palette over the typical brown
Valley Windworks has an apparent affiliation with Electric types, but the only new one it offers on your first visit is Pachirisu, and... I mean, look, Pachirisu is fine, but Valley Windworks deserves better? I think Blitzle would be a good fit for the area
Route 218's a pretty small and oddball route; I think making Munna available there would help it stand out more. It's right next to Canalave City, which has an association with dreams as is because it's where you can get access to Cresselia and Darkrai
Most regions usually have an early-game Dark type nowadays, and I think the Purrloin family would fit that role best out of the existing lineup, just because Liepard fur coats are already a thing and that'd seem like a handy thing for cold weather...
