@pascalblanche Visually I'm partial to the dynamism of the Thoth deck but I also like the spare way that the BOTA deck cleans up some of the obscurantism of the Waite deck.
Old. I sure took my sweet time getting comfortable with high opacity brushes 😅
Sketching in Procreate. I want to add some current environment work to my portfolio.
I still hold out some hope of building a piece of Titan City in Unreal 5, if only to see if the illusion is something that can be communicated. Baudrillardian 'copies without originals' but not as an academic finger wag. It may be a bad idea but that rarely stops me.
More old things I still kind of like. I enjoy grounded details on things. It feels like respect for the audience.
Quick render, but I think the shape really needed to go in a different direction for it to do something interesting. Definitely done now.
Scan and a little cleanup. If this were a concept for a modeler I'd keep the lighting pretty flat so they wouldn't have to guess at shadow detail. For a painting that was an illustration or part of a pitch I'd tint this the color of the underpainting and work back into it a lot.
A little progress. I'll probably move some elements around in the final version.
They're going to find my mummified remains buried beneath a pile of unfinished art.
