My bookshelf left to right: 64. Equinoxes by Cyril Pedrosa is separated into four chapters corresponding to the seasons of the year, telling a tale about people and how their lives intersect and diverge while striving for equilibrium between who they are and who they want to be.
I've just read and am sad to say that Richard Corben died today, aged 80. I just read one of his Den stories yesterday. He was a fantastic horror and fantasy illustrator of unique style. His work will be remembered in the history of the ninth art.
My bookshelf left to right: 57. The Eternaut by Hector Germán Oesterheld and Francisco Solano López is one of the greatest sci-fi adventures ever written, and a metaphor of that day Argentina as the country devastated by military junta and surrendered to external interests.
My bookshelf left to right: 51. Love & Rockets: Maggie the Mechanic by Jaime Hernandez follows the adventures of Maggie, her best friend - sometimes lover Hopey, and their circle of friends, including Penny Century, the wrestler Rena Titanon and Maggie's love interest, Rand Race.
The first image would be my favorite illustration by Milo Manara, followed by actual panels from Indian Summer that inspired the illustration. Have a nice weekend everybody ;)

My bookshelf left to right: 37. Peter Pan by Régis Loisel. Before arrival to Neverland, Peter was fighting for survival in the Dickensian London suburbs. His retreat from reality were the fantastic stories told by a neighbor, allowing him escape from darkness of the adult world.
Comics Worldwide: Romania. Maria Surducan works as a freelance ilustrator and comic book author from her studio in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. She has illustrated three graphic novels and several picture books.
My bookshelf left to right: 36. The Quest for the Time Bird by Régis Loisel and Serge Le Tendre is a fantasy comic series about the world of Akbar undergoing a threat of an evil god about to be awoken, and heroes on a quest to stop it. It is considered a classic of fantasy genre.
Posting about DeCrecy's comic reminded me of how much I love his environments. Let me share some more ;)
