@ryo_redcyclone Ryu's portrait in SFIV looks a lot like the promotional artwork that Daigo Ikeno did for Street Fighter Zero 3

If you don't know, cel animation is the same type of animation used for the 1993 OVA. I guess at some point during production they thought it would be more appropriate to redo everything in digital.

Pretty much all the English names that originate from JOJOVELLER have remained consistent throughout the series, except for Tizzano, whose name was later changed to "Tiziano" in the anime.

Emporio's Chicago Cubs uniform had to be censored when the anime first came out on Netflix. By the time the TV version aired, he was given a brand new design.
