@MoonLemons9 @tacticalfiend Nah, Fuji's art reminds me more of manga targeted towards older demographic like seinen or (less likely) josei, but it still feels distinctly drawn by a man. It's just he never draws women in exaggerated manner. Meanwhile, *actual* female shounen artist tend to have neat lines 👇🏼
Wayama Yama's art style... I just know she's gonna write BL one of these days, in the same vein Natsume Ono (ACCA-13) and Kumota Haruko (Rakugou Shinjuu) do.
ALSO!!!!!!!!! my children Kon and Kabane.
probably the first main het pairing in shounen I've read that feels really cute and organic.
There's an interesting Figure Skating manga currently serializing!
It's Medalist by Tsuruma Ikada, follows a (very adorable) 10 yo girl Inori who dreams to be a figure skater in a highly competitive FS country Japan, and a freshly retired ice dancer who becomes her coach.
Anyw, the past week I've just been reading newer series that has less than 15 ch available and they're all gorgeous and def worth checking out
Dance Dance Danseur - George Asakura
Go with the Clouds to the North-Northwest - Irie Aki
The Strange Life of Subaru - Natsuko Takahashi
Kabane being this aloof, expressionless adorable baby with this EDGY ASS attire as his design is just, like, perfect I think. He's perfect.
