I started reading Gokurakugai and honestly I think I can get behind the "the story is really a vehicle to show off everyone wearing this one super specific aesthetic" thing it's got going on. Like Tokyo Aliens.

It's strange to me when a character who isn't supposed to be particularly attractive in a manga is still good-looking, so in my own drawings I often intentionally try to make OCs less attractive if they don't have a story reason to be. But then I don't get excited drawing them...

I went to watch Look Back.

To be honest I found it very difficult to watch bc I'd read the manga. I literally started crying from the first scene music, then through the whole movie, including parts that didn't make sense to cry through. I think I disturbed the people around me.
