Been playing with adding more than a dozen different color palettes to my Spirograph program over the past week. Here’s a peek at “antique”, “popsicle”, and “dark rainbow” (the latter being a palette which I use in my (dataviz) visuals for years now (not sequentially))
Then I turned to Curl noise, which @thomasp85 had mentioned to me days earlier actually, and this started to give off the right vibe. For a long time I felt that the wiggling of the lines from the other pieces didn't work for air, so this image basically sets that part to 0
