As for Tomorrow, I wrote and illustrated the book when I was in Syria during the first year of the crisis. This story was my way of processing the war, and I especially wanted to show what a war zone was like using a child’s perspective.
I really enjoyed reading Adam’s wonderful questions! 📚 I feel so lucky to have such an engaged and passionate reader like you, Adam!
Do you have any questions about my books? I’d love to hear them all 😊
Question 5:
Why does Yazan’s Dad make lots of phone calls to check on the traffic when there is no one outside?
Hello everyone!
Today I wanted to share some questions from a lovely young reader. His name is Adam and he has asked me some brilliant questions about my book, Tomorrow!
So I thought I’d answer & share them with you all! 📚😊
I wrote and illustrated my book #Tomorrow when I was in Syria during the war watching what children were going through. I hope that this story can give a little perspective on what a child’s daily life can be like in a conflict context. 1/2

The end to racism starts on bookshelves. (1/4)
Happy #WorldBookDay2020!
I woke up this morning to find the sweetest surprise ever. 🙌🏾
Laith, age 5 chose #TheJasmineSneeze as his fave book for #worldbookday world and made the cutest little Damascene courtyard with a fish skeleton, and a Jasmine spirit in the tree.
