Today I wanted to feature a handful of book illustrations as I'm adding the finishing details to the Kickstarter project: launching Tuesday (25th, 10am PST)

When I look back to try and pinpoint where I began thinking of the two characters that would eventually become Naiya and Aru in my upcoming illustrated novel, I always think back to this piece, "An Offering of Light"

Today I want to introduce you to Naiya, the main character in my novel, #NaiyaAndTheFoxdragon.

The last image in this series is an early set of sketches for Naiya's character, a few just a bit older than she is in the book at 14.
