Since I live in the desert a prickly pear cactus seemed like the obvious choice, though it wasn't my first one. I decided to go with it because I'd forgotten just how colorful they can be.

I feel like one of the best decisions I ever made was to cut my hair short. It was never as long as in this drawing, but it felt like it sometimes. As soon as it was gone I felt more like myself than I had in a long time.

The first thing that came to mind when I saw bottle was a soda bottle, so I went with one of my favorite soda flavors. It's kind of torturous having to serve it all day to guests at the theater without being able to drink it myself. 😭

While drawing this I learned that frog legs are weird and I apparently can't spell swollen (fixed the pic in PS).
