i really liked this book as a kid because the illustrations, bright contrasted colors against black/stark yellow, and imagery of an old woman eating animals until she died, made it a little aesthetically harsher (for lack of a better term) than most kids books
isaac is a great game but i cant help but feel its bad game design to have treasure room powerups that are just completely detrimental. not only does this item teleport you to a different room when you take damage while charging, it reset my synergies
when you google "popular culture/parody in contemporary art" or other variations of that phrase you get parodies of iconic art itself like warhol soup cans when what i'm looking for is stuff like this (paintings by trey abdella and yue minjun)
for how simple people think adventure time's style is, its incredibly easy to draw the characters somewhat wrong looking despite that (in official media), like if you draw them with like obvious lines of actions and other classic cartoon character sensibilities, ironically
@furbyfridays watching this show is hard for me because the voice actor does the exact same voice for jimmy neutron as she does with the main character and i cant unassociate the voice with jimmy neutron
i drew this more than a year ago and totally forgot about it until i was going through my files just now
this goomba? you better believe this is nematodecore. moreso the hat than the goomba actually, but both are integral to eachother
