I found my old unfinished Tolvas reference sheet WIP and a lot of the anatomy is awful so I'm gonna start over but! I think this experimental hard shading I had started working on is really neat

OKAY SO: original screenshot, WIP paintover, and "adjustment" sketch I've been using to reposition body parts

I don't really know how to paint digitally (much less style-match), so this is a bit rough but!! Progress!! The mouth especially still needs a ton of work but We Shall See

Also, I think this silly Victoria Crowned Pigeon is the best thing I've drawn in years (in part bc I learned so, so much while drawing it and in part bc it's CUTE)

side note, it's still so fucking funny seeing how different the pieces I'm working on look whenever I flip between the tabs I have open in CSP. I really like blues and purples but FUCK if anything I make looks like it's made by the same person.
