surprise, I got almost nothing done today! I might just leave it at this level of "polish" for this round tbh,, I'm learning a lot, including that I don't want to try to paint a scene

I isolated my shitty Flynn Fairwind from the "I Pissed My Ass" tee shirt for fun

anyway. slopping in colors on top of the sketch now and trying to somewhat keep the lighting layers in mind (only on Talith still, but! idc!)

ANYWAY, that's hidden for now. slapping down some super super basic shadow/highlight multiply/overlay filters to determine how I'm gonna try to paint this

ANYWAY! Got some flats down and slapped on some scar placeholders.

anyway. now it's time to line if I choose to go that route,, which I think I will just so things are clearer.

I just think it's neat how different the most recent Alast piece I've been working on is from these two from last year's STVBB

okay now I'm just squinting doubtfully @ how wildly different my style is in my three current WIPs. jesus.
