Did a digital painting for the first time in quite a while and thought this would make for a fun comparison.

I've been listening to a lot of Homestuck soundtracks/fansongs recently and got in the mood to draw Jade again.
I kind of forgot that I don't have any dark grey/black markers at hand but it kinda worked out anyways.

It's ink (and metalic watercolors) season again :D
I decided to skip inktober this year though. I already spend way too much time glued to my desk, even without participating in a daily art challenge.

Decided to make some painterly trees and grass (as everyone else does atm).
So far I'm pretty happy how it looks.

@FatLadySiiiings Sadly, I won't be near my laptop for the next few days. So I can't show you my node setup for the shader atm.
I do have another image of the shader on a sphere with flat shading though in case that helps?

And as a bonus some close ups of her head, since I spent way too much time painting the textures for it xD

Of course I didn't notice how awkward the nose geometry was until after I posted it xD
Changed it to something that makes more sense now.

Took a break from my previous 3d project and decided to give the #256fes challenge a shot.

I probably could take better advantage of the remaining space in my texture atlas, but that's something for another time.
