I started by mocking up some pieces in the plant engine to figure out which parts it will need, and to pin down a texture resolution.
@phi_lira What is weird that if it was as you describe (lack of precision causing shadow acne). Then you'd expect the artifacts to be aligned to the light direction, not the camera.
and as a bonus, you get cool glitches when the UV baking fails:
