토토낙은 현재의 베라크루스 해안지역에 거주한 민족으로, 중심도시로는 셈포알라, 타힌, 테아요, 파판틀라 등이 있습니다. 코르테스가 멕시코 본토에서 처음으로 동맹을 맺은 세력으로 유명합니다.

올해는 고려 전기(11~13세기) 복식으로 그려봤습니다. 빌헬름은 공복으로 전각복두와 단(丹)색 단령을, 카트린은 저고리와 반비, 치마를 입었습니다. 치마를 저고리 위로 둘러입고 푸른색 대로 장식했으며, 어깨엔 영건을 걸쳤습니다.

8세기 초 마야의 서기관을 그려봤습니다. 프린스턴 박물관에 소장된 유명한 'Princeton Vase' 유물의 토끼 서기관에서 영감을 얻었습니다.

As Korean, I feel familiar to Aztec’s calendar system. It’s basic structure is similar to Ganzhi(Sexagenary cycle), which is used for reckoning time in East Asia. They both consists of two sub-cycles generating a larger cycle. (Aztec : 52 year / Ganzhi : 60 year)

Examples of various cloaks(tilmatli) depicted in Codex Magliabecchiano. I am very surprised that it’s much more colorful and complex than the illustrations of well-known Codex Mendoza or Florence.
