@JThornshield 40 years ago or so I received for Christmas a large coffee table size book of 'The Hobbit' with illustrations from the Rankin-Bass TV adaptation and a thin book with the sheet music. I'm happy to say I still have them. 🙂
Seregost. I don't think this swamp castle is burning down or falling over any time soon.
I watched the first episode of 'The Witcher' on Netflix starring Henry Cavill. How do you know he is a witcher? He looks like one! No false nose, no warts, at least none that I can see, but his hair is a bit suspect. Luckily, there are no French to taunt or fling cows at him.
This is one of my all-time favorite pieces of Tolkien art. It's a scene from 'The Silmarillion' featuring Caranthir, Aredhel, Curufin & Celegorm by Elena Kukanova.
1/ Asmund tells Boromir, 'The Elves that live in the wood have some very strict rules concerning what animals they hunt; certain animals fall within their protection...
'The meat...of these animals are said to be of extremely high quality... #lotrofamily
Biscuits with tea are a wonderful afternoon treat. Don't you agree?
I will not eat them in a house.
I will not eat them with a mouse.
I will not eat them in a box.
I will not eat them with a fox.
I will not eat them here or there.
I will not eat them anywhere.
I do not like green eggs and ham.
I do not like them Tom-I-am.

@FibroJedi @lotrofamily @lotro Seems I missed the word that you were stepping down from #LOTROfamily. I knew you'd cut back, but now you've passed it off to other capable hands. I miss the weekly image "contests", but enjoyed them immensely while they happened. Please keep in touch.
