Makkun
First appearance: Sutte Hakkun (SNES)
Dancing, cheerful creatures that often get in Hakkun's way. They can be injected with different colors which changes their behavior.

Murasame
First appearance: The Mysterious Murasame Castle (FDS)
A giant stone statue that sits in Murasame Castle. One stormy night, a shining gold object fell into the castle on a bolt of lightning. Given life by the mysterious object, the statue then took over the castle.

Protagonist
First appearance: Kurikin Nano Island Story (DS)
A new student at Nano Academy who recently moved to Nano Island from somewhere in Japan. They use an NDS (Nano-Data-Sampler) to find and raise bacteria.

Thiana
First appearance: Panel de Pon (SNES)
The nature-loving Verdure Fairy who controls the greenery of the forest trees. She loves to talk and play with the little squirrels that live in the forest. Of all the squirrels, her favorite is Kururu.

"Me"
First appearance: BS-X: Sore wa Namae o Nusumareta Machi no Monogatari (Satellaview)
It's me! Or maybe you. Either way, it's the player avatar used within the Satellaview system. In addition to the hub town you'd show up in a few other games as well.

Toss Boys
First appearance: Rhythm Tengoku (GBA)
A toss team consisting of three close friends: Aka-chan in red, Ao-kun in blue, and Kii-yan in yellow. They practice every day aiming for a gold medal at the world championships.

Mr. Star
First appearance: Kirby's Star Stacker (GB)
While he doesn't do much in the original Game Boy game, he's central to the story in the SNES version. As a prank, King Dedede blasts him into pieces with a cannon, and Kirby must help him recover the missing shards.

Maple
First appearance: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages (GB)
This apprentice witch will often bump into you, causing some of your items to get mixed up with hers. If she gets enough of your rupees she'll upgrade her flying broom to a vacuum cleaner.

Rosie Mayfield
First appearance: Style Savvy: Styling Star (3DS)
A clumsy girl who grew up on a farm, but moved to the city in order to pursue her dream of becoming a pop star. Usually wears clothes that are cute and dainty, but also has a thing for rock styles.

Lord Cyber
First appearance: F-Zero: Maximum Velocity (GBA)
Pilot of the Sly Joker. A wealthy man who lives in a castle in a remote area. Not much is known about him, but he is said to have blood ties to royalty.
