Was thinking about how ppl liked the xiaolong bao purse in my holiday card & started doodling, and ended up drawing a xiaolongbao pinup girl.
My family has always disapproved of my love for drawing pretty women bc it didn't feel serious to them.
Oh well, I like what I like 🤷🏻♀️
I did a couple of good pun paintings.
I'm pleased with my my May 4th mashup pic, the laundry hamster with hamper is now hanging in @MattSchrader_DC 's apt I believe.
I also painted quite a few cute animal portraits these year, mostly cats.
I've always been kind of anxious about being able to fill an entire canvas, but I've loosened up a bit about it this year.
Hoping to do more landscape and nature in 2021.
Digital pastel is a style I picked up this year, I quite like the painterly feel of it, sans clean up and fumes.
The "fire chicken" piece I'm particularly proud of.
