i also have the sun and (growing) moon in the sky here. this is another kind of universal (really, its pan-medieval imo) thing, both these heavenly lights in the sky at the same time means youre looking at something that exists outside of time, its eternal, basically.
he's also writing with a feather, and i made it a red feather, like a cardinal feather. like the cardinals. get it. the cardinals. he's catholic. i think i find this clever because i made the association between the cardinals and "cardinals" very late in life (400 iq moment).
