dug up a strange piece of media that i now believe was seminal in my development. 70s space rock educational music video about an alien who has 12 digits instead of 10 so he counts in base 12. maybe this was my first experience with oddness + weird ideas. watched it 100s of times

some people may know already, they used to think that if it needed to a pelican would pierce its breast to feed its young with its blood, so it became a symbol of Christ and more laterally, self sacrifice:

anyway, i sat down and spent some time making an image of an angel like this riding a cloud down to earth. i have been thinking a lot about prophecy, messages from God, revelation, things like that recently, and wanted to make an image of an angel bringing something down to us.
