Today we joyfully gives thanks for the life of Thomas Aquinas, Saint, Theologian, Doctor of the Church & patron of students & universities. Thomas reminds us that knowledge & the Wisdom of God comes slowly through disciplined discipleship prayer & study & many, very many words!!

Sunday Dec 20, Advent 4: May we be Bethlehem. May we be Mary’s ‘Yes!’ We with Mary encounter the angel Gabriel. God’s messenger addresses us with her & asks us to open up our bodies to allow the generative Spirit of God to gestate within us so that we can bring the Christ to 1/2
Sunday Dec 6: Advent 2: In the readings we are faced with God’s dismantling & reversal of privilege. Isaiah heralds that God will comfort those who inhabit the wilderness of exile & bring them back home. In contrast John the Baptist calls people out of the safety of their 1/3
