"Consequences of War" painted between 1638-1639 by Peter Paul Rubens (1577 - 1640), for Ferdinando II de' Medici (1610 - 1670).
It shows Mars, charging with his shield and sword. Ruben gave a him the red cape to highlight his identity as a God.
