Margaret Morris ran a summer dance school in Antibes in the south of France but during her time there, still found time to paint.
Antibes, 1951.
The title of this work suggests that JD Fergusson was interested in conveying the quality of neon light in a café interior. This provides a degree of continuity with his earlier interests in capturing the light particular to the time of day, or the weather.
Neon, Café Pousset
See what we said about faces being hard? We take it all back! Marvel at this absolutely STUNNING #DougieDraws, Margaret Morris (1891–1980), dans 'Le Chant Hindu'.
Name a more iconic Microsoft Paint reinterpretation, we'll wait 🎨 💅
Today's #DougieDraws is this funky looking, but can't take our eyes off it, bird jar. It was designed by the Martin Brothers who made pottery in London from the late 1800s to the early 1900s. We've got more of their pottery in the collection, but none quite as quirky as this!
Because we are SO GOOD to you, we've only gone and created a special #DougieDraws Curation for @artukdotorg! Check it out - https://t.co/ake6V1FmGP

Winner gets Internet points (very valuable) #DougieDraws
As a wee bonus, #DougieDraws created the staff in his trademark style™ .
No eyes. Painted on faces.
Although looking at this image we can't help thinking of #BreakingBad.

🎵What's new pussycat? WOAH OH OH OH AH OH🎵
This Victorian taxidermy mount portrays the wildcat as a fierce snarling cat which has captured a red grouse. Nowadays they are found throughout the Scottish Highlands.
The #DougieDraws version is more gum than choppers we think
