@Jbandos If you look at the Sarlacc's Anatomy it was always presumed he made it up the esophagus, but that would all be collapsed dead flesh, sand would be so much easier to get through, and the stomach is actually side facing making it an easy escape. They actually did their research.

Most people have it and it is actually a nice smooth contrast in spite of its actual contrast because the eye knows to see it.
