"Human mobility and social organisation in Europe, from the Neolithic to the Middle Ages" session ⛵️
When our @marakat lab rotation student @CharlotWright managed to get a pesky PCR working she also unintentionally created what we now refer to as the #gelfie
(not to be confused with the other type of gelfie, the goat selfie! 🐐)
So so late for February's @ScrawlrBox cubist/acrylic #ScrawlrChallenge, definitely not supplies I know how to use (I'm just too slow for acrylics....)
On the other hand, don't think I would have ever drawn a cubist cat if not for the challenge 🐱
Day 2 #AncientBio21 showcase featuring ancient microbes and sediment DNA
I don't doodle enough water critters, so to remedy that I scribbled a few silly ones for the #GetYourArtUnderwater hashtag.
Many thanks to our water critter enthusiast @marakat for notifying me about this trend in the first place 🐟
It's the end of August, which means Halloween is basically tomorrow 🎃
Here is a series of dapper vampire #mosquitoes I drew for a progress report talk last year 🦟
@marakat @flygirlNHM @sangerinstitute @MasterChefUK however we wouldn't say no to a bloody mary
Haven't done a twitter art challenge yet, so here is my (fashionably late) take on #toonme #toonmechallenge
Definitely not my usual style, but still having a bit of an art slump these days and trying to get back into my drawing backlog.
I was drawing at a pretty consistent level for the past year (after several atrocious years of severe art block), but since lockdown I just end up binge drawing like a maniac followed by several days of creative burnout... can you even call that productive??
