Gotta love Will and Kym’s reactions when Lauren mentions that Tristan has forbidden her from going anywhere near the mines. Get yourself some besties who act shocked when you actually do something reasonable and not reckless 😂

Lauren questions Blair about what the “devil’s” that she saw in Greene’s notes is, and Dr. F. Emerys comes in clutch with information about the mine being nicknamed the “devil’s den”.

We get more excellent Detective Lauren moments as she interrogates Blair, who insists on his innocence but unfortunately, can’t stop lying.

They arrive at the suspect’s house. Lauren knocks on the door. There’s a loud bang and gunshot that narrowly misses Lauren. Who's shooting at her? They better be glad they missed. If Lauren was injured, her assailant would no doubt have a furious Purple Hyacinth to deal with!
