We get a nice montage of Detective Lauren in her element, questioning people, tracking down leads, and putting up information on the board in the precinct. This confirms that Greene was indeed murdered by PS. She was actively tracking them down. The royals are innocent for now.
A brief search of the room reveals names on the paparazzi-style photos Ms. Greene has taken, as well as a notebook with the name Devil’s and information about a messenger. Detective Lauren coming in the clutch yet again!
Our Detective Lauren arc continues as she, Will and March explore the mysterious red room! Gotta love Will laughing when March says Hermann will be pissed to hear about it, we stan a Lieutenant who doesn’t like his boss.
The music box is playing The Lullaby in the flashback of baby Kym and Daena, the lighting is soft, and they both look so happy playing games and dressing up in silly costumes. Excuse us while we go cry.
Another great detective Lauren moment as she realizes the mirror is a doorway and uncovers the red room. We know Ms. Greene was working to take down the Phantom Scythe, but seeing that wide collection of hidden photographs is a bit spooky! Who are all those people in the photos?
We learn a bit more about how the murder happened! It goes to show how service workers always go unnoticed, if the director could speak to a fake janitor and not realize it wasn’t the usual guy
Lauren is about to tell Will something important, presumably about Rafael being the 7th Apostle’s messenger, but March interrupts. It COULD just be a coincidence, but March has been awfully sus lately… did he interrupt on purpose?
Get you a man who can make jokes about being horny and only needing 5 minutes but who will also joke about not sleeping together before marriage. Kieran White contains multitudes, and as much as Lauren might try to act unaffected, we see that little smile
another performance from Bella as Hestia and we are looking VERY respectfully
