The Smoky Progg is the deformed larval form of the pikmin-loving Mamuta, but it couldn’t be more different. Upon “birth” it will immediately charge the onions to kill any pikmin it can get ahold of. It is also the only “poison” type enemy in Pikmin 1. Very little is know about it

Here are some Prototype designs for Bulbie and Sheargrub. I think its safe to say Phosbat and Doodlebug aren't winning.
Also I think I'm gonna go with grub. Sadly, I don't think Bulbie really works for what I want, but I'm still thinking.

The Valley of Repose from Pikmin 2 is actually a crosswalk. It’s hard to tell in game, but when zoomed out you can clearly see the path makings and the manhole cover. And the shadows covering it are from trees and a telephone pole.
