With hindsight, it's easy and even cathartic to poke fun at the weirdly on-the-nose and overly earnest superhero art of this day. But there was something we needed, at the time, in that earnestness, in that accessibility.

It's a very special #FifiFriday as we celebrate one of the most important animation artists of all time- the immortal Dan Haskett.
While I'm obviously partial to his Tiny Toons concept work, Mr. Haskett is a legend whose bonafides are rooted in everything we love in cartoons.
