Monstress: The Chosen - @marjoriemliu & @sanatakeda_art
The maddening complexity of this is beguiling. Now on volume 4 I am continually impressed with how this epic saga expands and impresses.
There is a wonderful sense of cynicism and hopeful optimism combined.
Here's my list of consumed media over the month of June. Not a lot, but some class stuff in there.
Emily the Strange: All Things Strange - Rob Reger & @BuzzParker
I loved this. So wonderfully like a cut & paste fanzine. The heartfelt meandering stream of consciousness and the artwork which is so intricately detailed in its simplicity.
Available at Excelsior, Bristol
Favourite episodes of Jodie's seasons
S11 - It Takes You Away (one of my favourites across all of #DoctorWho)
S12 - The Haunting of Villa Diodati
S13 - War of the Sontarans
I do like all the specials but I'll go for Eve of the Daleks. https://t.co/ej9ZxYpAKc
Doctor Who: Mistress of Chaos - @Scott1Gray
Absolutely loved this! A great story arc and some fantastic call backs to @DWMtweets stories from when I was a kid.
Dogbolter? The Moderator! and a great cameo from Sharon at the end.
It warmed the cockles of my heart.

Monstress: The Blood - @marjoriemliu & @sanatakeda_art
I've absolutely fallen in love with this. Though there's mystery to unfold it doesn't unnecessarily hide anything away and with each revelation the world gets bigger and fuller.
A wonderfully rendered creation.

#DoctorWho Old Friends - @Jody_Houser/@Robbertopoli/@RachaelAtWork
Apart from @neilhimself short story this is my first real introduction to The Corsair and I can now completely understand why they're a DWEU favourite.
Wonderfully written and beautifully illustrated, as usual.
Doctor Who - Hidden Human History - @Jody_Houser @Robbertopoli
Such a sweet story. Beautifully written & illustrated. JH really does capture 13s sensibilities so well. Also I love JHs piece at the end about how she got introduced to DW with Eight.
