This lone tree, surrounded by a carpet of heather is a well known icon on Egton High Moor in North Yorkshire. I gave the view a glowing sunset light and used a variety of textures and colours to depict the heather. What do you think?

I love pulling a unique sky together, whether that be soft clouds or troubling depths. A delicate, floating pink sky or a swirling, moody dark sky - which do you prefer? Shop giclee prints here:

This moody seascape is reminiscent of the Scottish coastline - not a particular place but rather the idea of a jutting headland with the swirling sky and glowering sea. Northern lights giclee print - available here: https://t.co/N83RGMlxFA #artstudio #gicleeprint #scottishart
People often ask me what the patterns signify - is it the earth or roots? The answer? All and none! I just love pulling colours and patterns together that symbolise nature, but by tapering the patterns and drawing the trees, it's more self-consciously a field with ploughed lines.
Ever intrigued about how my prints come to life? You can watch the entire process from the initial colour layering through to adding the finishing touches both on Youtube (RebeccaVincentArtist) or over on my website - https://t.co/mr4i0WzfuP
I'd love to know what you think!
The golden glow of a summer evening as the sun goes down and the sky takes centre stage. I just love how all of the colours swirl together in their own unique way to give a sense of movement.
How do you interpret it?

The colours and textures are carefully chosen to give the illusion of recession through space. A steady, pastel background with the boldest colours in the foreground - vibrant pinks, yellows and sea blue.

One of my more 'underrated' original paintings I think, but I can't help getting lost in the unique patterns and colours that 'On the rise' offers.
