A field of poppies in bloom is a glorious sight. Capturing it in ink was tricky but I found a solution using a little-known inking method that allowed me to roll one colour across another without them mixing. What do you think?

This moody seascape is reminiscent of the Scottish coastline; not a particular place but rather the idea of a jutting headland with the swirling sky and glowering sea.

Is this bay a real place? Although reminiscent of the Northumberland coast, there are many parts of the UK that could claim a view like this. But this is an imagined view that brings together all those views into one essential image.

With this landscape, I returned to my earlier theme of seeing the landscape as a patchwork of fields. I love how the colours seem to fade into the background, all possessing their own delicate pattern.
