She develops delusions of a happy life to cope with the zombie apocalypse. Throughout the series she slowly comes to terms with reality.

She experiences a disconnect from reality, more specifically when it comes to her violent and sadistic actions, which she will be confused about after committing them.

(SPOILERS!!) He has hallucinations that various random objects are “phones”. He uses them to contact his boss, who is really an alter in his system, which he is unaware of.

To cope with their fear of cats, when exposed to them for too long, Ranma develops delusions of being a cat themself.

Today’s psychotic character is Mamimi Samejima from FLCL.
She believes a video game character to be real and worships him as a god. To cope with the fact her ”boyfriend” (implied to be another delusion) left her, she deludes herself into thinking his little brother is him.
