25. Blank Canvas: My So-Called Artist's Journey by Akiko Higashimura, Vol 1 of 5 (complete) - An autobiographical manga by the author of Princess Jellyfish about her art and her sometimes fraught relationship with her art teacher who passed away before this manga was written

23. That Wolf-Boy is Mine! by Yoko Nogiri, Vols 3-4 of 4 (complete) - A bit more melodrama and slightly cliché twists, but I liked how the heroine and love interest supported each other and the paranormal elements balanced well! This series is being rereleased in omnibus volumes

20. A Gentle Noble's Vacation Recommendation by Misaki, Momochi, and Sando, Vols 2-3 (ongoing) - When high-ranking nobleman Lizel finds himself in another world he decides it's the perfect chance for a vacation, luckily skilled swordsman Gil accepts his request to form a party

19. Ghostly Things by Ushio Shirotori, Vols 2-3 of 3 (complete) - Overall a fine entry in the "human can see spirits" subgenre, concise in three volumes, I wish there'd been more closure- I'm glad the (spoiler) "your loved one has been dead all along" trope was averted though!

18. Ghostly Things by Ushio Shirotori, Vol 1 of 3 (complete) - Yachiho is tasked with searching the research of the folklorist who previously owned their new house in order to find The Book of the Dead, a clue to her mother's disappearance- but the house is inhabited by spirits!

16. Rozi in the Labyrinth by Shiya Totsuki, Vol 2 (ongoing) - Sometimes a family is an energetic child, an animated puppet, a magically aged boy, and a man slowly turning into a cat living in a labyrinthine city of humans drawn into it from elsewhere. More backstory this time!

15. Skull-face Bookseller Honda-san by Honda, Vol 4 of 4 - Honda-san left her job at the bookstore while creating the last volume, so about half of this final volume covers a few regular sized chapters interviewing publishing professionals while the other half is bonus material

14. Skull-face Bookseller Honda-san, Vols 1-3 of 4 - A humorous essay manga drawn from the author's experiences working in a bookstore- all of the employees' faces are obscured by different masks to protect their identities. I miss being able to visit the Kinokuniya in Chicago!

13. Prince Freya by Keiko Ishihara, Vol 4 (ongoing) - A dying prince's last wish is that Freya take his place in disguise to stop their kingdom from being conquered; this shoujo fantasy has a surprisingly high named character body count and I'm still not sure how I feel about it?

12. The Cat Proposed by Dento Hayane - A charming and heartfelt BL romance between an office worker burnt out to the point of suicidal ideation and the bakeneko storyteller who falls in love with him at first sight and must marry him, naturally, now that his true form's been seen
