Squigling elders are the further developed and the more experienced amongst the sguiglings, and usually assume leadership positions. While squiglings consume brains for basic sustenance, the quality and quantity of the brains consumed also impacts their psionic abilities.

A nautillery is a large nautilus-like creature approximately eight feet in diameter. It takes its name from the forceful jets of water that it can propel at great range from its claw-like mouth, which are powerful enough to blow holes in the sides of ships, as artillery could.

Some squiglings have psionic capabilities developed enough to allow them to assume control of another creature’s brain. To do so, it must maintain direct contact with the victim's brain with at least two of their tentacles, often facilitated by boring holes into the skull.

Abyssal wights are raised by dark entities with demonic influence or where death has occurred in an area where abyssal energies are strong. Abyssal wights retain the memories and drives of their former selves while heeding the call of whoever pulled them back from the afterlife.

Like the flesh golem, the atrocity is a foul amalgam of various body parts that have been sewn together to create a golem of repurposed flesh. Unlike the flesh golem, however, an atrocity can only be created by incorporating non-humanoid flesh in addition to its base components.

Urvoks give birth to litters ranging in size from two to five cubs. Though they have white fur in adulthood, urvoks are born with blood-red fur that slowly loses its color over the first year of the urvok’s life.

Kawakingu can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. Kawakingu regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.
