The witch brooches from Resident Evil 8; I modelled it in Fusion and then brought it over to Meshmixer for texturing. Going to mould and cast these with brass powder.
And the regular Eternal brooch. I did these two for a client's garage kit set, but I decided to just model them at 1:1 scale for cosplayers and then scale down for the figure :)
Okay... holidays over, slowly kicking a really bad cold's ass, quarantined at home... back to modelling. Getting back into it today with some Sailor Moon pieces. The Eternal Moon Article:
@Focian It's just quadballs in the sculpt mode! One for the base head, one ear, one eyeball, one for the nose/top muzzle, one lower jaw and one tooth. I just drag things around until I like the shape, and then merge and fillet the seam so it's smooth.
Sculpting that leopard head was crazy. Here he is before I added his spots and eyeliner.
Rinoa's Rising Sun and Pinwheel weapons from FF8 –– interchangeable on the same bracer!
This prints with very little supports; the finials all slot into each other so no supports are wasted on supporting an upper layer, and that way they can be sanded and painted separately, too. The lantern cage itself has an open bottom so it doesn't need tons of internal support.
I’ve gotta tweak these a bit but I had to see it I could generate studs that wrapped around this curve. Success!
Fusion did something real funny with save hierarchies and ended up overwriting the entire top half of the sword I made yesterday, so here's today's take on... the same sword.
