Jeremiah's mask from Code Geass! The eye cap prints separately so it can pop in and out.
I had to hustle this baby out the door today to buy my client extra time to finish before the con, so I didn’t manage to get nice pictures but here’s prints of the Kairi keyblade!
@gearstation As a two-part, I could just mould the diamonds and bands separately, cast and then assemble. Vytaflex loves superglue –– it'll tear itself in half before it releases from superglue –– so it would mean not having to mould different size rings too.
A little thing I whipped up on my lunch: hoop skirt planning! Generally I would just do all the math by hand, but instead of doing all that trial and error, I decided to just 3D model myself a skirt, slice it into rings, and then use those circumferences to get my hoop sizes.
Some pieces are invisible in these renders because I'm trying to figure out placement, but just imagine me staring at this for hours over the past week with the Mii channel music playing. THE WINGS... COMPLETELY CHANGE DIRECTION...
And that's mostly a wrap –– just have to slice it for printing now. All those flowers print separately for obvious reasons.
Some early 3D modeling; partially because it's an easy place for me to start, and partially because I had to do this for @dangerousladies resin kits anyway. There were a couple iterations of the horns and accessories.
Right now I'm working almost exclusively off concept art and what's in the trailers so there will be nothing spoiler-y in this thread. I don't expect much to change, and Fire Emblem is always inconsistent between concept, portraits, cutscene and game model anyway.
Pieces for Petra and Ingrid... I'm just going to tackle a character or two every day, they're small enough projects that I can fit them in.
Hilda's buckles. I feel like a couple characters have these but with only waist-up references so far, it's a little hard to tell.
