Cute!! I'm doing a finished one of these (not sure which yet) for a client, but I decided to finalize both model iterations. Though the staff doesn't have an end cap on the show, I decided to add one so it looks a little more polished. The finished one will be full length!
Doing some small projects today before jumping into some bigger stuff! First up, Ozma's pendant from RWBY. I added a ring to the top for now but that might go before printing, we'll see.
After I make the center forehead piece, these are pretty much ready to drag into the sculpt environment to try texturizing those horns. I don't do much texture stuff so uh... godspeed, me.
There's also a slot on the side against the head; this is so a cosplayer can install a chicago screw sheath. One of my fav ways to do horns is to install chicago screws into a headband, put the wig on with the screws poking out between the wefts, and then screw the piece on.
Working on some bits and bobs for Edelgard's red garment; more yet to go! That collar is going to have a few different variations –– halves for @kasumikamigawa to print, and a buck-mounted version for Dangerous Ladies to mould.
Just another look at Iris/A-set's headset from AI: The Somnium Files. The ears print separately and assemble on plugs, and the headband can be printed whole (with supports) or in two halves (with peg alignment.) There's also a slice for doing a size test. Bigger ears now, too :)
Rhea's headdress from Fire Emblem: Three Houses. I'll be doing this as a resin kit (sans round beads and tassels, with optional backboard) with @dangerousladies as well as additional pieces for her cloak and chest.
Iris's headset from AI: The Somnium Files, a Yusuke Kozaki-designed game that's due out in September. Iris a net idol so I imagine this headset does something... internet-ty... while broadcasting to her fans.
Tell me... how heavy is this (presumably solid metal) cylinder, considering it is the width of his damn head? 🤔
