Manticores live predominantly in migratory routes for large grazing animals, where they grow truly massive on passing herds. The winged beasts don't stop growing, and if they reach a certain size they'll begin to branch out and target settlements.

Druids on the Steppe often contend with Manticores, who are drawn to the shepherding people's flocks to sate their massive appetites. While there's only several Manticore sightings throughout the year, Uruk migrating through Wastron brings them in droves.

The tribes residing on the Steppe worship giant wolves that are said to be Druids that permanently worged to chase away monsters. Because of this, the Wastron people adorn themselves in designs resembling teeth and claws.
