Alright, alright, alright.. let’s see what we’ve got...
#AmaterasuSunday, on the horizon.
If that name seems familiar, look back on near literally every single day on the calendar. Shintoism always always leads back to Amaterasu in some way.
With the new Persona 4 Golden release on Steam, I think it's time to re-release my custom OST artworks for the game for anyone who bought the "Digital Deluxe" edition.
So, here they are.
Enjoy!
It's gonna get Fuu-ki on this #FuuKiFriday
Fuu-ki, along with Sui-Ki, Ongyo-Ki, and Kin-Ki are the 4 "Oni" or, "Demons/Devils/Trolls" of Japanese Folklore, being known for a whole matter of bad things including kidnapping women, stealing food, attacking villages.. etc.
Tsukuyomi is the Japanese deity of Lunar events in Shintoism, being born from Izanagi’s right eye during his cleanse after his descent to the Underworld, making him the brother of Susanoo and Amaterasu.
@Diego13303 There’s this one. But that’s about it; this came with the Phantom Thieves Edition of P5R, and only included 10 tracks.
In the story, Shikome is an ugly hag (or hags) sent after Izanagi after breaking the promise he made to refrain from looking at her in the Underworld.
Yomotsu-Shikome literally translated means "Ugly-Woman-of-the-Underworld," however, other accounts lead to this being plural.
Let's heat up this Saturday with #SaturnusSaturday, the Roman God of Agriculture.
Many may know him better as Saturn, also being the God of Justice and Strength, Cronus is another name associated with him, the leader of the Titans in Greek mythology.
Futsunushi of #FutsunushiFriday has his very own day, finally.
Aside from being just a fun word to say, Futsunushi is the Shinto god of Swords, specifically said to be the personification of the sword called Futsu-no-mitama.
Ascend upon for #ThroneThursday, the 3rd of a series of 9 different classes of Angels in Christianity.
They represent the Throne of God, or, YHVH, and as such, are living embodiments of the justice and authority of which he symbolises.
