Another attempt at copying the style. I think I'm going to work on replicating the eyes a bit more, then I might try doing some fanart in Hidari's style, which could be fun :)

I have been trying to copy Hidari's art style, since I loved his illustrations for Shadows of Valentia. It's also helping me work out some general proportions and rules of thumb for some of my own stuff, and helping me work out how I should structure a piece.

This may just be a random sketch, but I am pleased with it as it shows I am getting better at figures :). I think I will focus on stylised faces for a bit while doing exercises for figure drawing.

I... am quite pleased with this, even if I did use a reference. I will colour it tomorrow since it's getting late.
