More @Heaving_Bosoms merchandise graphics! I'm particularly fond of Darkwing Duke!
I realized in a panic yesterday that December is tomorrow, and therefore the deadline for the themed monthly challenge ("winter solstice") is almost upon me. So I pulled this back out and I'm gonna be frantically trying to get it to a point that I'm happy with over the weekend.
Now that their store has officially launched, I'm excited to share some of the merch designs I created for the ladies over at @Heaving_Bosoms podcast! Go give the samples on their profile a listen-- they're hilarious.
Confession: 99% of the time when I start a new video game, I have ulterior motives. I make characters so I can draw them. Like my blood elf paladin, here. An I gonna get hopelessly addicted to WoW? Probably not. But now I've got an OC in-universe to draw. #WorldofWarcraft #WoW
I did a little more work on this last night, and I crashed Photoshop, which means I'm doing something right. It's coming along but it's gonna take a long while to get it where I want it.
#Inktober day 6! I absolutely love the moon, so I wanted to do a moon witch. My metallic markers all ran out, which is why the moon isn't solid-- nevertheless, I like the way it turned out. I think it's my favorite so far. #Inktober2018 #inktoberday6
The start of my next character illustration, my pirate wizard Solomon. The foundation still needs some massaging, but as far as I've gotten on 90 minutes of work, I think I can easily wrap this up in at 3 hours.
I finished up my portrait of Nyx last night! Overall it took just short of 3 hours, which is a good sign for making this into a commission process. This morning I started a second portrait and I'll be posting that later today.
I'm probably gonna open up character portrait commissions but in order to do that I need to make sure I can work fast enough. I'm starting with a series of portraits of my own characters, just to see how fast I can go. This is about 80% done after 90 mins of work this morning.
I'm gonna have a lot of fun with this month's art challenge theme. We're designing characters based on our favorite drinks! I don't drink alcohol, so this isn't MY favorite, but I still wanted to draw it. More to come, I'm sure.
