Ok so, I'm experimenting a lot, trying to learn new techniques. Today I was working on a new color process with this very hasty sketch. Do I feel like it was successful? Not really. But I learned something. And the more I learn, the more I feel like I don't know.

I tend to keep lists of drawing ideas and this is one from about six months ago that I never got around to. I admit, my reference was rushed so the lighting is mostly improvised. Good exercise, though.

A little sketch of Valley of Fire I did last night, with the end goal of sticking it on a t-shirt. I've been in a diamond composition kick lately but I'm not sure it's working-- I might revisit this tonight.
