A moment like this is 1 of the reasons why I call Sacchan underappreciated.

Sure, she ended her speech comically, but Gintoki and the two kids still took it to heart, going ahead to get back to normal after they (and the remaining 4) TOTALLY gave up on everything.

Bushido is essential... and Gintoki has a clear understanding of it.

There's something about him telling this to Hijikata, that makes me love this scene a lot, and more than the first time I watched it.

Gotta love their dynamic...
