The episode preview includes a shot of Seiji at the fashion show that is not present in the actual episode.

Sea Panther first appears at the end of the previous episode, where she is voiced by Taeko Nakanishi, rather than Haruko Kitahama. Nakanishi voiced the main villain in that episode, Breast Claw.

The fashion designer is voiced by Kazuko Sawada, who also voices Junpei.

Kazuo Komatsubara was not credited for his animation work on this episode. You can see his sketches in the “Kazuo Komatsubara: Animator The Great” book. He previously did key animation for episode 1, and would go on to be the animation director for episodes 18 and 20.

The episode title, “A Red Pearl is Forever” (赤い真珠は永遠に) is a reference to the 007 film, “Diamonds are Forever” (ダイヤモンドは永遠に).

@CoolTaff16 I might've given you the wrong info, that's Kikkai-kun's grandfather. He's also the janitor Todoroki Kiyohiko in Devilman, and the principal of Paradise Academy in Cutie Honey. Also, Omorai-kun himself is in the crowd!
