LOL I love how they look NOTHING like the Beatles. All of the other celebrities/historical wax figures are pretty dead on though
I'm not a huge Junpei fan, but he's very tolerable here. Things are switched up a bit, with a girl having a crush on Junpei (instead of him just being a skirt chaser). Also this is the only episode where Seiji is absent.
I didn't realize this until recently, but this is definitely in line with Usagi abusing her disguise pen in Sailor Moon haha
We have our first real guest characters: Queen Dirty Marie of Toreador, and her wet nurse Mastadon. Marie's design is based off Junpei's original design (he was going to be a girl named Zuko)
Kazuhiko Udagawa was the animation director. He founded an animation studio called "Anime Room", that didn't survive more than a decade.
The episode opens with a really beautiful sequence of Honey thinking about her father, while the ending song plays. I wish they had more moments like this in the series, after awhile she doesn't really mention him.
@eryncerise I hate they used this as a cover. Like this was the other option, and would’ve been 1000 times better:
