Another issue I have with Susumu's writing is that he always gives the Claws excessive powers. Like Taranche can hypnotize, she can use spider threads (the only power that makes sense), and she can also shoot fire from her head?! W H Y

This episode did not age well at all

Danbei shouldn't be able to recognize Honey! I'm gonna excuse it, and say she was suppose to be blonde here, and it was an error on the animator's part. The whole episode makes it seem like Danbei is aware Honey can transform.

For some reason, Taranche and Danbei are able to recognize Honey in her disguise. Junpei can't. Makes no sense.

HERE'S WHERE THINGS GET STUPID. Taranche escapes... to an Egyptian Magic Show... where she saws Junpei in half. WHY? This makes no sense. This could've been a whole plot for another episode.

So now we have this random subplot of "if the crown is stolen, Seiji loses his job" (also yikes, Honey's hand). Why?? The conflict is already that Panther Claw stole the crown, why pile that on???

Danbei randomly drives Honey in a carriage... did he drive her all the way from St. Chapel into the city?! Also, Honey transforms into a Geisha to tease Danbei. It's a cute gag, but... Danbei doesn't know she can transform yet.
