I found this (unfinished) art from 2011!? I feel like some people probably think I've regressed over time, and while these are more "polished" than my current work, I can see so many things I've improved on since then. it's nice to remember that simple doesn't mean less skilled!!
I feel like I don't talk about or show my process often, so I thought I'd post the lineart and sketch for the fairy and the gardener comic just to give an idea of how I work! I tend to line directly from my rough sketches because I feel like it makes the end result more lively✨
the other day we bought this manga called "giant spider & me" and it's a post-apocalyptic story about a girl enjoying the company of a massive spider she found in the woods and I cannot stress how much it feels like it was written for me
my copies of steven universe #12 came in!! it's a sleepover issue, and I think it was my favorite one to draw so far - let me know if you pick it up! :')
recently between projects I've been messing around with drawings from my sketchbook bc I feel like I haven't painted/rendered anything in years!? trying out a few different methods!
my favorite four things I drew in 2017! I feel like I didn't complete as many illustrations as I have in past years, but I think I like each one more than I usually do...!!
WOW, it's been a year since the steven universe 2016 special was released!?? it was my first time being professionally published, and since then things have changed so much.....I've done a lot and learned even more, and I'm so grateful for everyone's support along the way!!
