I had hoped to illustrate another round of 24 robins to add to my collection from 2017 but unfortunately I'm so behind schedule I'm not sure I can catch up now!
The word "grosbeak" was first used in the late 1670s & is a partial translation of the French grosbec, where gros means "large" and bec means "beak"
